They are great. I love how random people that I have never heard of are doing so much, usually for others/the world in such amazing places.

TED is a nonprofit devoted to spreading ideas, usually in the form of short, powerful talks (18 minutes or less). TED began in 1984 as a conference where Technology, Entertainment and Design converged, and today covers almost all topics — from science to business to global issues — in more than 100 languages.

Me! I haven't watched an awful lot but this first one I saw was of interest to me as a school teacher and artist... about how schools kill creativity:
I wonder if people could post links to other favourites? I'd be interested to see some more ... but without trawling through their whole archive.

They are often played in my uni tutorials as well

I love them! Especially the brain and behaviour ones. They help consolidate what we are learning at uni.
I also love the Sarah Kay and Susan Cain talks. There is also an awesome one on an empathy (I have a mental blank on what it is called).
