Default Ovulation while one birth control

Excuse the stupid questions ladies... I have googled this but have not found a simple easy to understand answer...

Do you still ovulate while on the pill - in particular Levlen ED?

Not to my knowledge, it's the sugar pills that causes a drop in hormones to trigger AF (which is a withdrawal bleed not a true AF)

No, you don't. The pill suppresses ovulation (in most cases anyway, nothing is 100% effective!)

Thanks ladies, i read that some types thicken your uterine wall to prevent an egg from imbedding, while others change your CM. Apparently Levlen is a low dose pill so not 100% what it does. How long before TTC did you stop taking the pill?

Some will do those things in addition to stopping ovulation.

I stopped the pill a month before ttc, just long enough to get my first natural period and went from there. Second time around my period never returned and ended up on fertility meds!

The PMS symptoms are from the hormone changes when you stop the active pills and go to sugar pills
