    Default Best android kids apps

    Hi all,

We have just purchased our first family tablet and I am wondering if anyone can recommend any good (preferably free) apps for a 5 year old. I am mainly looking for ones that will keep my ds entertained but for them to also be educational.
I am taking both my boys (5 &14months) to NZ by myself in a few weeks and we will be doing heaps of driving etc so I am hoping this will be one way to keep my eldest boy entertained.

    TIA

Have you seen Abc reading eggs? I had a coupon code for a trial and my 3 year old has loved it.

Don't know of any others, so am interested in others' responses too. We''ve used our tablet on flights and loaded a few playschool episodes on - could something like that be an option to mount to the back of a car seat?

Theres reading eggs. Dd really likes that.
We also got a micro sd card and downloaded her fave tv shows to it so she could watch them on the plane.
    Worked for us

Sent from my GT-I9305T using The Bub Hub mobile app

Yep we have tried reading eggs and he loved it so that is on the list and we have a few movies on there for him but he gets bored of just watching tv/movies pretty quickly so want apps he can interact with I guess.
Will definitely be looking at the head rest mounts for in the car so thank you for that suggestion
    Anyone else?

Fruit ninjah! My 3 y.o DS loves it! Pretty simple game but he gets really entertained with it plus it's a good game to practice eye-hand coordination at an early age!
