    Hi everyone...

    Just a quick question...does anyone had biopsy @ kareena hospital with dr m? How much time it takes & r we allowed to go home straight? Is it painful? & can it be done with very light periods?

    Please advise.

    Thanks,

    Precious heart I had early spotting also and was told to increase prog to 1200/day and bed rest. It should settle down. Are you haring weekly hog & p4 bts?

    Pihu I had my biopsy at Kareena. From memory I got there around 12, didn't go to Surgery til after 3 then an hour in recovery and another 1-2hr back on the ward. Left around 6-6.30. I felt fine the next day and back to work. My understanding is it cannot be done if you're bleeding as the result won't be accurate. What CD is it scheduled?

    Pihu Is it just biopsy? I had a lap too and a few other things so mine was a general. I stayed overnight cause I live 3 hours away but could have gone home that evening. Oh and mine was day 23. From what I understand it has to be rescheduled if you are bleeding

    It's a general anesthetic. He often performs a d&c too. With me he also removed 4 polyps. (We didn't know they were there)You can usually eat after surgery is done. They feed you afternoon tea/dinner depending on what time you get out of recovery. But you will fast after breakfast.

    @Babychino I am in Sydney with Dr Benny. I have three frozen embryos left.
    @Pihu when is your biopsy? Mine is scheduled for CD 26 (might have to move this forward?) I am wondering the same thing. I am seeing Dr M on Thursday so I will ask him a few of these questions. You could always call up to confirm

    @Bella978 and @timetoshine thanks for the info!! I think mine is at Hurstville?

    @Pihu Good luck! Hope it all goes well. If you don't mind sharing what happens (ie: timing and whether or not is was general anaesthetic) I would appreciate it

    @timetoshine and @PreciousHeart..

    when you guys have spotting and you are asked to take more pesseries. Do you also bed rest as completely ly down as well? Or live a normal life? Do you believe that walking around could potentially harm the embries?
