I'm loving all your answers - thanks everyone - keep them coming

Simply acknowledging the things that are 'good' in your life can be very powerful.

Sending love, hugs and good vibes to all you lovely mamas working so hard raising your beautiful bubs. xx

I guess IDEALLY, I'd like to not have to think about the cost of things, and to have work that I enjoy/consider meaningful.

That's ideal though... I think we have an amazingly good life. We're healthy, we have food whenever we want it, we have access to good healthcare, we have spare time and luxuries, we have negligible safety concerns, we have a comfortable home and wonderful people in our lives.

There's no way I could complain about my life. I'm so incredibly privileged to have been born in the time and place that I was.

I think there's many aspects to "living the good life"- some I feel I'm very lucky to have under my belt, some I feel I'm still at a ways to go.

    Health-
    Financial stability-
    Wonderful kids-
    Loving partner-
    Regular holidays-
    Extended trips-

Still, I don't think life would be as much fun if you didn't have something to strive towards.

    1. Health. I cherish having healthy children and a healthy family and my own health above all else.

    2. Security. Not loads of wealth but enough. Enough to have food and clothes and shelter and a few pretty, frivolous things are good for the soul as well.

    3. Happiness. Personal fulfilment, happy children, a fulfilled, smiling husband. Seeing my extended family and dear friends happy and enjoying their lives.

I have a good life. I have a wonderful daughter, amazing friends and family who love and care about me, I have a job that is very flexible, money in my bank, bills all paid and some savings and planning an o/s trip with some friends. I have a FOB who I'm still friends with and who still spends as much time with DD as humanly possible and takes her every weekend so I can work. All in all, pretty good life.

    * Good health and a happy household, happy and healthy kids
    * Being financially secure, not rich just comfortable enough not to have to stress about how the bills will be paid every fortnight or worrying about whether you can afford to go away when you want to or worrying you won't be able to give your kids the things you wish you had as a kid, and knowing your kids have financial security already to assist them when they head out to on their own
    * Living in a place that you love in a good environment where the kids can experience much of what city kids would never get the opportunity to do
    * A job you enjoy

All of which we have and are very grateful for.

A general satisfaction in all areas of ones life.

The (financial and other) freedom to be able to travel a lot, this would make me so happy!
