When the bottle of sambucca you got for your birthday last year is still sitting in the cupboard untouched. You know realise that drinking shots is over rated and would take you days to recover.

When you are, ahem, admiring a man from behind (I still have eyes yanno!) and he turns around and it's your friends (who is of a similar age) son.

And yes, the doctors and nurses I see are all very lovely but I'm sure they're twelve!

The check out people at coles stopped being older than me. Now they are young kids and I've had to say "you don't put tins in with the eggs, c'mon, use some common sense," and they've said "sorry ma'am." And then I go damn.

I don't want to participate in this thread, . someone else said they were closer to the pension then when they finished high school. This year is forty years since I finished high school. Doctors, policemen, and even Priests are all younger than me. It all doesn't matter, age is just a number, I don't have too many grey hairs yet. And Im having too much fun with the grandbabies, to be worried about getting old. . Marie

When you realise that it is 20 years since Kurt Cobain died and it still feels like yesterday.

@Wally90 if the 90 means what I think it means, you were probably only 4 and didn't get to appreciate real music.

I always feel old these days...

But, most recently, yesterday watching So You Think You Can Dance when apparently they all danced to global number one hits and the only song I recognised was Footloose 😔

Yeah it means what you think. Haha. Lucky for me my parents were big music fans and I married a man 10 years older who is also a huge music fan so I have had a little educating, but never into the music of Kurt. Might have to do some research.
