When I say to the kids "when I was your age..."

Or meeting up with friends to see a movie. We are all in maxi dresses, lined up behind girls who are wearing shorts so short you can see what they had for breakfast

Yeah sorry...that would be me I'm only 25 but if it helps I've always felt much older than I am

Standing on a bus that had quite a few schoolkids on it, all about 15 or 16 years old. A seat became available beside me & a schoolboy jumped in there before me. A schoolgirl standing beside me said to me: 'He is sooo rude. We all know you're supposed to give seats to old ladies first.' I had just turned 40!

    Discovered another one last night-

Sitting around with 17 year old sil and some of her friends listening to them talk rubbish.... thinking to myself wtf are they on about. I text my mum and apologised for all the times I made her sit through me and my friends doing the same lol

I did that to someone when I was a teenager. She was very offended!

I was recently buying a gift at one of those girly shops that sells cheap costume jewellery etc. I was talking to the girls at the counter & when I said I was 40 one fresh faced girl exclaimed "Wow, I didn't think you were THAT old".

    Can anyone say 'back-handed compliment'???
