Oh and when one of my younger staff members at work were describing what he would be wearing to a music festival and I made a passing comment about similar colours and items being fashion in the 80's. I then received a wide eyed stare and 'really'? In return.

I was also informed by another young staff member that I was also too old to use a certain internet messenger and that was only for people his age!!

I'm only 10 years older then these kids but apparently I have one foot in the grave according to them!

First the police officers become younger than you.
Then the doctors become younger than you.
Then the specialists become younger than you.

I wake up to it and it's in the car. No inane chit-chat, no ads. Just beautiful music and hosts that talk like normal human beings. Bliss.

Lol I was a teen in the late 80s and my bff had a heap of fab.ul.ous clothes her mother had kept from the 60s. So jealous (but she deserved them all)

When Hanson's song MmBop was on tv one morning and my teenage sil screwed her face up and said "who the hell are they". I cried. How can you NOT know who they are- or at least know the song!

Or when my oh so tactful dd1 (6 years old) tells me I am old like Grandy (her 75 year old great grabdfather) because I forget things.... apparently only OLD people forget things.

    (Im only 25 btw)

Or when my best friend points out we have been friends for 21 years.

Or when I realise its our year 12 10 year reunion next year

Or when I found my first grey hair.

    me + he = dd1 (July 2007), dd2 (July 2010), dd3 (August 2012), dd4 (due May 2014) + sil (1997)

    Yup.

And I now refer to a lot of people as "kids" - I seem to apply this to anyone 25 or under.
