Sunny - good luck with the feeding and seeing the end of Jesse's jaundice. In 3 months time this will be a little hiccup you'll barely remember.
Blinky - hope you're doing okay.
January - Hope the symptoms are persisting and causing you havoc!
Emski - hope you're feeling relieved with your numbers.
Wishmeluck - not now til you meet your bub, best wishes, how exciting for you after such a long journey.
Rainbow - thanks for the tips on beating this persistent headache. Acupuncture is high on my list of to-dos.
Thanks to everyone else who sent their wishes - its lovely to be so supported. And it's official - I'm 4 wks pregnant! Wow!
My Hcg was 199, which the nurse said was strong and means she didn't expect to see me again until 8 weeks. Not sure I'm not going to require a little more reassurance between then and now.
So ladies - I'm proof of the power of persistence, after our first trip to SA in Dec failed and we had no embies for the freezer. My DH was keen to keep going, often saying its a numbers game, and he was proved right. We also picked a new donor, who looks nothing like me, but had an excellent donation record.
But I'm not getting carried away - as this thread and the NK thread shows, it's not over til the bub's in our arms. However it's a nice feeling and I plan to enjoy it.
Myheart - I'm not as well-versed in the workings of NK cells as many others on that thread. But other women who report experiencing colds/fevers after transfer say it indicates the unsuppressed activity of NK Cells which affects implantation. Hence my slight paranoia - I've got this far I don't want those evil cells to kick in again. I'll be booking my next intrallipid first thing tomo, and continue with my ( slightly half-arsed) low inflammation diet.
Keep believing ladies (and blokes!)

Congratulations Feather!
No news from us yet, couldn't get same day results: they do things slow here in Qld
I do want to pose a questions to all the ladies who have already been to SA:
What age donor did you choose and what was your result(BFP/ BFN)?
I'd be interested to see if there was a correlation...
I'm beginning to think the donor we chose was still 'too old' by egg standards to overcome some of our MFI and that we should have picked someone younger?
