My mothers group were shown the DVD by our CHN - was definitely useful in the early days!

A friend loaned me the DVD with my 1st at around 6 weeks - was really useful. I'd googled and looked at the descriptions/pictures before then but the DVD was so much better. I only worked out 2 of DDs cries for sure, but it meant that any other cry I knew it wasn't tired or hungry so would try something else.

Interestingly, DS had a posterior tongue tie not diagnosed/cut until 5 weeks which meant that his tongue could not reach the roof of his mouth. He never did 'neh' for hungry - but even so, just the experience of reading cries with my 1st helped me to identify his unique hungry cry.
