I agree it sounds like pica. Can you ask for a referral to a paediatrician ? Pinky McKay has booby beads that are designed for teething babies to suck/chew on ?

Personally, I would be asking for referral if your gp does not acknowledge it's a problem. If it was 'just a phase', then it wouldn't still be happening at age 4.

I can get her into the GP on Friday afternoon. I will ask for help from her but i will also ask for a referral.
Is there anything else i could be doing in the meantime?
