Default Applying for SSP under one roof

My DH and i have split, Im desperate to get the payment asap so i can buy essentials for my 2 littles. My other centrelink payments were cancelled because he didnt do his tax, can someone please tell me the process and if there is any way to get it approved faster?
I called to apply today but my credit ran out and they didnt call me back. Can i just go into an office and have it done or will they just make a later appt?
I will contact salvos tomorrow if the application will take a while to go through.
Sorry i know Im rambling but just really upset and have no freakin clue what Im doing
What is the process and how long did it take for you?
Also how can i provide witnesses etc, will my mum suffice?- i dont know anyone, no friends since we moved here couple of years ago.
Please excuse this post, i just feel so overwhelmed and stuck

I'd go into the office tomorrow, let them know your situation and see what they can do. Good luck.

Just make sure you take all documentation in with you. Passports or license, birth certificates of you and your children and go the the ATM and get a receipt printed out with what is in your account.

I am in that situation . Go in and line up and tell them what's happening . They will get the processed started and give you an appointment . It's very easy. Just a few extra pages to fill out.

You will also need to ring child support and tell them what's happening .
