Default Recommend me a good easy to follow bra pattern.

I want to start making my own bras so I was hoping someone could recommend a good easy to follow pattern that will cater for a larger bust?

Nothing too complex please, im a fairly novice sewer & just have a basic sewing machine.

Ive tried to make my own pattern but im struggling, I just cant seem to make it work. I only have one bra that fits me properly at the moment & it cost me $75, im not taking that apart to use as a pattern!

What a great idea! I'm a novice sew-er too and I could have a stab at making one. i can't recommend a pattern though. I've seen the clips and straps in spotlight but what fabric would you use I wonder?

Yes im not sure on fabric either, but I was hoping the pattern would tell me. Maybe something stretchy would work but I dont know if I need any special equipment to sew stretch material, ive never tried it before.

No I don't think you need anything special, you just slightly stretch/pull the fabric as you sew, so that the garment will give a little. The problem is though that most fabrics in spotlight etc have either no stretch or too much. Cutting the pattern out of a stretch tshirt might be a better option.
