Other easy things I do are
*A sort of trail mix made up of puffed corn, dried fruit, plain popcorn and dry nutr-grain. I just store a large batch in an airtight container and put some into a smaller container to take out - you can do any combo of things your child likes.
*Banana bread/date loaf. Freeze individual slices or two slices and then defrost as needed.
*Piklets, either plane or apple or banana - again, easy to freeze in small serves and then defrost and serve at room temp.
