    Hi,

Forgive me if I am not doing this right it's my first time for a chat, decided to join as a mum of 3 with a chaotic schedule which life for me is not about me. Would love advice and feedback about some events recently in my life, to see what I need to do to turn things around.

    Appreciate any suggestions

Default Hello and hopefully some advice

    Hello all,
I decided to join after googling several different topics and saw that people on this site had similar issues.
Im hoping that there maybe someone out there who has had similar problems and could offer some advice.

I live in Adelaide and have been going through ICSI. Ive had several different lots of meds now prior to egg retrieval but with the same result. I only have 1 embyro past 24hrs. Im about to the my 4th surgery.
Has anyone else gone through so many retrievals with a similar result or been told their eggs are too tough ? And this is the reason why we havent had success.

We are getting to the point of having to give up due to both financial and emtional reasons.

Im hoping that Im not alone out there and there may be some people in a similar boat that can offer some advice.

Thanks and good luck to all in this journey

    Hello everyone
I'm new here. I'm also from New Zealand (don't hold it against me!). We've had an ectopic pregnancy and a miscarriage. I'm about to start my third cycle of Clompihene. I've got Lupus, Endometriosis and they think my ectopic experience stopped my body from ovulating.
I'm here just to learn about others experiences, share my journey, and enjoy the support a place like this can offer - in the real world, not many people I know truly understand this kind of journey so it's quite isolating.
    xx Belles

Hi all..im Sam (38) and DH is 39.
We have been through 3 rounds of Icsi w PGD and only had 1 transfer from the first round which was not successful. I have been on the same meds and basically the same doses for each round but the last 2 cycles have seen fertilised eggs not make it past day 3. I may be looking for a new FS if my current one doesnt change the protocol for the next round. Im looking for advice on brilliant drs in melbourne! If someone could point me in the right direction where to look in threads for this info that woulf be great.
    Thanks, SAM

Hi @SAM17, my fs is Lynn Burmeister who is with Monash IVF and based in Richmond. She has tried a few different protocols with me so isn't afraid to change things up. There is thread about her on here and so I will tag you in it so you can take a look. Sorry to hear that you have been having such a tough time. I would be pushing for a change of protocol or a new fs. Also look into supplements you can take to boost your egg quality.

    Default First timer!

    Hi everyone!
I'm very new to all of this. I'm 27 and my partner and I have been together for 7 years. We have been talking a lot lately about whether or not it's time to start a family. I have baby fever to the extreme but it takes two to make a decision as big as this so fingers crossed he comes around soon lol!!
Excited to see what the forum has to offer
    Thanks Ladies xxx
