LOL!! Ah, bubhub. Where it is a-ok to be judgmental and rude about someone as long as there is a thread made about them OP I imagine the lady was just trying to be funny, there's no need to get your knickers in a knot. Or for everyone to go on and on about how rude and judgmental she was.
Pot, meet a whole forum of kettles.

I would assume she was just trying to be funny. I wouldn't get too worked up, she could have said a lot worse.
Eta both my DH and I are tattooed. No one has ever said much except to ask who did them

I can't understand why tattoos are such a big deal for some people. I'm fairly heavily tattoo'd - although I'm friends with a lot of tattoo artists who have everything including their heads tattoo'd so me with my sleeves & leg sleeves feels practically naked next to them!
That said - I'm 34, work in a conservative office who don't mind if I have pieces showing but I wear long pants & long sleeves (even in summer) around my mother because she picks fights about it constantly. To her tattoos are the WORST thing in the world. She believes tattoos and murderers are pretty much the same thing - it drives me NUTS. I really do cringe if I see bad work however so horses for courses I suppose??

It sounds like she was trying to be a little too funny, IMO.
My DP has tattoo lettering down the full length of his arm and it doesn't bother me or my DS (4). I have one on my hip and plan to get more.
Some people are just dumb with the crap that they say.
