So my little boy had his 12 month health check up and has now since been refered to a audiologist to have a hearing test as he hasn't been very responsive nor was he during his check up. We do have hearing problem on my side of the family and he did only just pass his newborn test when he was born.
They do believe it is only partial as he is still making some sounds and screams.
i was just wondering if any one has been through something similar and can shed some light as to what to expect with testing and all of that?

I haven't been through something similar but I used to work for an audiologist and my understanding is that the earlier you get help the better for the development of your child.
Make sure you are happy with the audiologist as you may have to work closely together and if you are unhappy get a second opinion.
Hope that helps
