Those that get cold sores get some Lysine, you can get the tablets at any chemist. I used to get cold sores a lot from stress & a friend put me onto them, I took one a day till I had finished them & haven't had a cold sore in over 3 years!

I've been reading around on this, looking for some answers and I looked at an 'ear, nose and throat' specialist website and it said that its actually not a poor immune system to blame, quite the opposite! I'll see if I can find the site and post a link here.

As in, "I can't go to work," kind of sick? Maybe once a year.

A headache, a sore stomach, etc... that happens a few times, but it's usually gone within 24 hours and not really a "take a day off," kind of problem.

    I've never had the flu.

Usually never, at most a very minor cold once a year and the odd hangover
After having dd2 my immune system has been shot! I've been bed ridden sick 3 times in 3 months. I think I need to start taking probiotics.

Hoping i don't jinx myself here.....The only time i get sick is when i am pregnant. Each pregnancy i have had terrible chest infections, and my last pregnancy before this one i had pleurisy in the first 8 weeks. I rarely get colds any other time, and i have a vomit phobia (it's real!!) so thankfully i seem to dodge tummy bugs somehow too.

That being said, i have digestive issues, so i kind of feel gross most of the time, but am not actually sick.
