thatwldbme - Glad to hear jabs are going well, when is your first scan?
Twinkley - Hun 55 days is a long time to wait for af, is it not time for provera so you can get things started and maybe fit in that cycle before Christmas? I know it can feel very frustrating as time ticks by and we pass certain points in our journey. We will be 2 years ttc no.2 in the new year and here we were thinking this time around would be easier knowing what we were dealing with, how wrong were we Maybe you are feeling less positive at the moment with having to wait yet again, try to take one step at a time.
Ladydee - I am really pleased for you hun that you have a blan B for the new year, I have heard some amazing things about Wazza. Hopefully you will have good news before then and be with bump for Christmas.
AFM - I have my appointment for November confirmed and I am really pleased to get another cycle in before Christmas, like twinkley I have met the medicare safety net and my next cycle will be considerably cheaper. I will be asking my fertility specialist what his plan of action would be if I was going through an 'affordable' clinic, would he change something if I was through the sister clinic? Also I want to know why he things my embryos didn't make it to freeze, was it a sperm or egg issue and if it is maybe the sperm ask about ICSI what's another $700 in the mist of all this (when else in life do we say that lol).

Twinkley - I know how you feel about AF being MIA, but surely your FS can put you on something to get things flowing again *no pun intended* lol really hope you gt another cycle in before Christmas.
Ladydee - That's great news that your feeling positive and have your plan b. really hope this will be your cycle.
Heyside - Great news on your confirmed appointment, I too hope this is your cycle and you get your BFP before Christmas.
AFM - Jabs are going well, few ouchie ones here and there, some even bleed just that little bit. the bloatyness is now bearable. I had my 2nd lot of blood tests on Tuesday, my hormones are rising nicely they said, and are very happy how things are going, said to continue on with my jabs and still on the same dosage, being at 50in. so I am taking that as good news. My scan and next round of blood test is on Friday morning. so can only hope for more good news. I did have my doubts last week, and I still do, I was so positive that one round should do, but now after reading so many forums and threads it made me think a little more realistically.

sooo back from my scan. not good news nor bad news, my left ovary was playing hide and seek so took awhile for her to find anything, but 11 very small ones on the left and 30 very small follicles on the right. just now waiting on a call back from them as I had another blood test this morning, and I guess more instructions on what to do next. am assuming I would be upping my puregon dosage from 50in.
Also, the ultrasound tech said my lining was 8c?anyone have a clue what that means? of course its in their terms and no doubt they will tell me when they call with my blood test results.

@thatwldbme- that's a great lining. My clinic like it at least 7mm to be able to support a possible pregnancy and you've still got growing time so for it to be 8 already, is a great start. Well there's the good old PCO doing their thang with all of those immature follies! I'm sure a slightly higher dose will do the trick. Fingers and toes crossed that only one or two take off and suck up all of that FSH. Becoming a jabbing expert now? Good luck Hun xx

@Ladydee I know that 8mm is a good indicator, but she didn't say mm she said 8c? but of course I never asked. haha. well they have since called me again anyway, and I am to continue on my injections on the same dosage, ummm ok! but I also go back on Monday for another blood test and scan.
who knows! maybe they will grow over the weekend. how you going hun?

Ah ok, nope sorry I have no idea what "c" means? Does anyone else?? They do always tread very carefully with your first cycle as they are learning how your body responds to each dose of FSH, I understand it can be annoying but I guess they figure your follie/s will still take off with your current dose. What cycle day are you now?

Hi Ladydee, Yeh that's a good point. They must just be being careful, which I guess is not a bad thing.
Today I am on cycle day 12. So come Monday it will be day 15.

Hi everyone!! @thatwldbme I hope Mondays scan shows some lovely growth and rising numbers on the bloods. My first cycle they called a 'getting to know you' round, which they only really told me about after it all turned to crap. Unfortunately my first cycle was cancelled, but they did work out that I don't produce any LH in my own, and we changed meds for the next cycle. That is just me though, and it seems that my ovaries continue to surprise my specialist. Hang in there- my nurse always says 'slow and steady wins the race'
AFM- I had a scan last Tuesday which showed my cyst had halved in size (now just 4cms!!!) and two lead follies at 12 mm. Good news, BUT blood test on Thursday showed that my oestrogen isn't really going up. So staying on same dose of 75 as they don't want too many more follies, and another blood test on Monday. I have only been injecting for a week yesterday, whereas last cycle I was injecting for three and a half weeks so I guess I have a bit longer to go!
So I really hope slow and steady does win the race!!
Have lovely weekends ladies. Xx

thatwldbme - Sorry to hear all has not gone straight forward with your first cycle hun but like everyone else has said the first cycle can sometimes be a bit of a test cycle. I have not heard of lining being 8c before really not sure what that means either hun, hope they explain more on Monday for you. My very first cycles on injections were very long and I ended up injecting for around 25 days so don't give up hope, hope you get some better news at your next scan.
S234 - Good to hear your cyst is getting smaller hun, sorry to hear oestrogen isn't rising for you though. Hope you get some good results at your scan.
Hope everyone else is well and enjoying this beautiful weekend (good in QLD anyway), hoping to enjoy the first dip in the pool tomorrow

Thatwldbme my clinic also used the a/b/c grading, it's called smiths grading of the endometrial lining I think it is supposed to correlate with where you are in your cycle. c is mid follicular so that makes sense with where you're at with your follies too. Hope that helps. I also had long injecting times one cycle I injected for 36 days! God luck for Monday.
