I don't have any specific advice just wanted to pop in and say hang in there. Your GP sounds like a good doc, I'm sure they will look out for you.

Thank you. I am at mum's. I couldn't settle down and was pacing the hallway, disturbing the cats. So I'm not alone now. Still restless but feel a bit safer.

Hun you can also present to emergency if you feel you need immediate support. Good on you for going to your mums. Xx

Thanks. I can't afford the fee for the private emergency and don't want to go to the public one because I don't think I could stand to be in the waiting room right now. Only another 5 hours until the GP opens.

I couldn't read and not post! It sounds like you have a good plan for this morning. Definitely see your GP as planned and discuss your concerns. You can always go through ED as a backup as well. And yes you can be admitted as a voluntary patient in some circumstances. I hope things work out for you. Please take care!

I'm seeing my GP at 9:30. They had fit me in at 2:30 but I got mum to ring again because the thought of not being in hospital is making me sick.
I got about 3 hours sleep. The kids were all over me this morning but I just had to get away so I'm back home now. Mum is taking me to dr.

Hey love, sorry to hear that you had such a rough night last night. I'm glad you went to your mum's for support! It is good to hear you are being admitted, but unfortunate that you have to wait until the morning. Think positive thoughts, help is just around the corner
I hope that your mum is able to help you out again tonight? How are you feeling now?
