We got our results back he has rsv & rhinovirus hope I spelt those right lol. Poor thing ended up back in ed todsy as his lips went very pale & was gasping for air. If hubby was worried I had to go.
Having few friendship problems. Apparently im shutting myself out. (Im socially active!) Met up with dig etc. But im sickness paranoid. My bff son has glandular stay the F away whats wrong with people. But it's my fault because I don't communicate after H.

I think it's a completely rational response to be worried about sickness, and fwiw I believe it's something people would probably struggle to fully understand unless they've been where you are. I know it's not the same thing in the slightest, but tonight my son started choking and even stopped breathing. It was terrifying and the absolute worst moment of my life. I can't describe the panic I felt and I was a mess for a long time afterwards. Until that moment, I've never known how it feels to fear for your child's life. And you went through this fear for day after day. You are amazing.
My point is, perhaps your friends saying that *you* are shutting *yourself* out is them projecting the fact that they don't fully understand what you've been through? Maybe it's something that can't actually be communicated?
Hope little H recovers well soon.

Poor little Hugo, he just can't catch a break can he? At least you have an answer. Sorry to hear you ended up back in emergency. I hope Hugo is feeling better tonight and on the improve. Are you back at home?
My goodness, I can totally see why you are sickness paranoid!!! It is with damn good reason! I'd be running scared from your bff if I was you.
True friends will understand what you are going through and should offer support rather than cause friendship problems I think you have done well to even meet up with your DIG!
I'm a bit sad that your friends are putting pressure on you to communicate / socialise with them. Although they probably think they have your best interests at heart, I find it a little selfish. You need time. Don't feel guilty about it for one second.

Monnie you've been through so much. Do what you think you are capable of and not what others think you should be doing. Not the same thing but after my brother passed away I shut myself off for a long time until I felt I could handle listening to people talk about day to say stuff without wanting to punch them in the face. You have carried so much worry and no doubt still do.
You are doing an amazing job getting out and about with 2 very young children who both have health worries. I take my hat off.

Somedays I could just walk away. It is so hard. I have to document what hand hes using more of etc. In his milestones. Im just tired mentally. My hubby isnt working yet and we have run out of convo im ready to seriously bash him over the head to stop asking silly questions. They probably arent silly but im just so frustrated lately.
Thanks girls- thats how I feel im not ready to go out. I mean I want to goto the gym etc for me and walk with kids but I dont want to do social dinners etc 1- I can't afford it!!! 2- I domt want pretend im ok. Im still in phase of sitting and crying. My beautiful dd today shes almost 14m kissed my cheeks when I cried today

Rsv is not fun and be prepared that they tend to be worse at day 5 then start to improve. My youngest was hospitalized with it at 6wks.
Big hugs for all of you xox

Oh Monnie my heart is breaking for you. You have been through so much and are still having to endure battles every day. Are you still seeing a counsellor? It helps to talk if nothing else. Try to focus on the positives each day and make it a mantra each time your mind starts to wonder into negatives. I know this sounds impossible at the moment but your little ones need you and would love to see a happy mumma.
I'm struggling with pre natal depression a little at the moment and I had no idea what effect it was having on my 4yr old Dd until she started acting up at daycare. ((Hugs)) xx
