    Default Green smoothie recipe without banana?

    I made our first green smoothie yesterday with banana, yoghurt, milk, honey, and 2 handfuls of spinach leaves. (Trying to include more veggies in bub's diet!) It was lovely.

    But most green smoothie recipes I see contain banana, which can constipate a little boy if he eats too many. So does anyone have some green smoothie recipes without banana?

    I make a green smoothie with apple, baby spinach, basil, mint & lemon (plus a little water)

    My sister is die hard green smoothie/vegetable juice drinker and has this one just about every morning for brekky

    Mango green smoothie - blitz in blender
    Ingredients
    1.25 cups frozen mango pieces
    1 cup frozen strawberries
    1 cup fresh spinach
    1 cup almond milk
    optional sweetener: honey, stevia or agave

    I do:
    Raspberries
    Orange
    Spinach
    Flaxseed
    Protein powder
    Water

    Or for a creamy one I omit the orange and use milk (unsweetened soy) instead of water. Sometimes I add cacao for a choc berry-yum!

    We have one every morning -

    Celery
    Pear
    Apple
    Baby spinach
    Water
    Squeeze of lemon juice

    Sometimes I have coconut water instead if water and add a banana if we have them.
