The staff are all casual as well. Even their long term staff and supervisors. Only a very very select few, usually family, get full time label and every now and then the owner will turn up and walk around and say "he can go, she can go, him, him, her..".
Hearing the other stores are just as bad make me feel better for reporting.

Ohhh I see, pretty sure I know the place you're talking about
There is a place called tony ale or something similar that my mum reckons is really good for fruit and veg but is better than this place. It's in the southern suburbs somewhere?

I went to the north one once and loved it, then went to a south one and was sorely disappointed. It's not even much cheaper anymore so don't understand the pull? :-/ I'd rather pay a bit more and save the travel.

There is a stall on the side of the road we will go to now, actually it's more of a front yard on the way into dwellingup that are awesome. It's pure luck as to what is there but last winter we were regularly buying 10 kg of seconds apples there for $5 and they were far better than the s shops 1st's!

I think I know the place you guys are referring to. Does it have 2 words starting with 's'? They also have a store in fremantle and the stuff there is below par too.
If you're near Hilton, there is a good little fruit and veg store there.
Freo markets late sunday are good too.

How revolting. I wouldn't buy anything from there if that was the case.

I just received an email replying to my complaint.
it basically thanked me for my email and they did follow it up. They said they couldn't find any evidence of some of my concerns but they did find other things of concern which they will be dealing with.
I dropped in to my local one the other day, the one I was complaining about, (the day after sending my email) and the meat section had been restocked. It makes me wonder what they found.
