So my newborn (6 days) is having to be topped up with formula on top of breastfeeds cause he's not putting on enough weight. (IUGR baby born early because he wasn't growing sufficiently).
Anyway, I breastfed my first, so I'm new to this bottle & formula thing!!
Just wanted some advice on what bottles work well for small bubs who haven't woken up properly yet? With a slow flow so it doesn't impact my breast feeding too much.
Also a question about formula - can you make a batch for like a days worth & keep in the fridge or do you have to make every bottle immediately before feeding?

Recommendations on bottle brands, & a question about formula

Congrats on the new bub
I've found Pigeon wide neck bottles and teats to be the best (I've also used Avent and Closer to Nature). DS had an uncoordinated suck for weeks after he was born and the slow pigeon teats made him work a bit harder for his milk, which really helped him.
Wide neck Pigeon teats fit Avent bottles, so it might be cheaper to do it that way rather than buying Pigeon bottles.
Formula can be made up and kept in the fridge for 24hrs.

My bub was really small, and we used closer to nature bottles, he never had a problem. They say when preparing bottles to make one each time they are hungry.
