I have know idea about how long it takes being paid thru centrelink, but all I do know is the reason some take longer after proving birth, is because of the employer not centrelink taking ages. So I guess if they are not behind then it shouldn't be a delay

I registered in September and got my approval letter, bub was due 21st of dec, born on the 25th. My nominated start date was still the 21st, I filled out proof of birth form that day and just took pictures on my iPhone of each page and uploaded them via online services got paid 2 business days later including back pay from the 21st. Don't send the form in the mail! My SIL did this and it took weeks as the 'scanning department' were behind at CL. She even got her birth certificate and medicare card sent out and still hadn't been paid! Good luck!

Finally got my first ppl payment, which included a backlog! I could have received it a fortnight ago but Centrelink missed my works cut off by a few days.
