Default What oven do you have and is it good?

I purchased an Euromaid upright electric double over for almost $1500 about 2 years ago and its utter cr@p. About 6 months in i had to replace the element. Door has fallen off and shattered and cant get anyone to replace the glass. Now the oven doesnt work at all. Knobs have all fallen off and needed replacing. The clock/timer has fallen in on itself. Its just rubbish.

    I want/need a new one but we have a under $1000 budget.

It needs to be electric, upright/freestanding and not a hunk or cr@p.

So, what oven do you have and is it good?

    TIA

I love our oven! It's a smeg upright with 6 burners, 900mm wide so you can fit loads in it. We got it reduced from about 4000 to 2500 if I remember correctly.

If you have house insurance, give them a call, chances are it will be covered for replacement because of the broken glass door.

Your oven should still be under manufacturers warranty.
