Default Pregnyl Question BFP at 11dp3dt

I need HELP as l am going insane with over thinking!!

Today l did a HPT & got a positive result. I am 11dp3dt & had a 1500iu Pregnyl shot into my uterus on the day of the transfer. Only the one dose.

Is this a BFP or would it still be the Pregnyl?? Your thoughts very much appreciated!! This is my 11th round of IVF & l have never got a BFP before. First time using Pregnyl though.

I had 2 embies put back.

I really hope it is a :BFP: for you - you deserve it after 11 attempts (we all deserve it after 1st attempt but you especially for trying so long.)

I'm starting my 2nd cycle currently so not sure about pregnyl that much.

I used Ovidrel last time and I tested 12dp2dt and came up with the negative, which did not change.

I'm hoping for your sake it is a positive. Maybe see if you can find out the drugs half life... that way you should be able to work out if it's still in your system or not. When you say you had the pregnyl into your uterus, am I correct in thinking that for some reason you didn't have it sub cut in your abdo like usual ? And if so, just curious can I ask why ?

14 days after the Pregnyl? I definitely think that's a real BFP. I did a FR HPT at 11dp5dt last month, only 9 days after having a 5000 shot of Pregnyl and it was most definitely negative. Congratulations.

Definitely not the pregnyl. I had 10,000ui as for my trigger and also 1500ui at 3 days after epu. Got my bfp at 7dp5dt and currently 30w pregnant with that bfp

    Congratulations!!

Agirllikemel- been googling like mad today & as l only had one low dose of 1500 Pregnyl, seems they are saying roughly 7 days for the Pregnyl to leave your system. Other info l came across says 10-14 days but amounts weren't specified. So here's hoping!!

My specialist administered the Pregnyl into my uterus just before transfer. She has a theory by placing it in the uterus that it helps with the embryos implanting. Apparently she has had great success rates with doing it that way. Willing to try anything after everything DH & I have been through on this 2.5year (so far) IVF journey.

Hope your next round is a success.

I would put money on that being a bfp!! Pregnyl would usually be gone after 9-11dpo if administered by injection and wouldn't show up that strong on a hpt.

VikkiB- I so do hope your right!! I had the Pregnyl shot the day of the transfer, so counting the next day as the 1st day would make it that 11 days have past.

I will do another test tomorrow morning & will see what happens.
