What a great idea this is. I am a stay at home first time Mum with a toddler having sleeping issues and I'm also trying to work part time from home. At the moment feeling overwhelmed with so much to do that I sometimes just dont get started on anything. I am going to follow along with this unofficially to see how I go.

Ok, I have actually cleaned my entire house over the past two weekends. Today I went through DD's toys and culled 4 puzzles, a play table and like 20 books and gave them to her cousin so I think that is the challenge completed. That being said, I am going to keep up with the challenges cause I desperately need help in keeping it clean.

I have heaps to do. Really want to downsize the amount of stuff we have.

good work guys.
The pantry challenge is for today ...
As discussed in the thread, I will be posting each days challenge the day before ... so that you can get a head start, or alternatively if you have a lot on and dont get things done, you have a day to catch up
so - tomorrows challenge
Tuesday, 3rd June – Fridge
Clear out anything that needs to be ditched. Wipe down shelves, give the crispers a good clean.
For a lovely fresh smell in your fridge, leave open some vanilla - or half a lemon. Its so lovely to open the fridge when its freshly cleaned and smells nice.
Like most kitchen cleaning, baking soda can be used to clean your fridge – and an open box of baking soda stashed in the back of your fridge will absorb smells.
Dont forget about Cleaning Green
The best way to stock your green cleaning kit is with an economy-size box of baking soda, a gallon jug of vinegar, and some basic table salt in as large a quantity as you can find. Baking soda is an excellent green cleaning product to use throughout your home, especially in the kitchen. It's also food-safe and has no odor. Baking soda is mildly abrasive, yet it can't harm your surfaces, whether they're linoleum or expensive imported Italian marble.
You may also want to keep lemons and lemon juice around for some of the tasks described below. Vinegar and lemon can often serve the same purpose, but lemon has a much nicer scent

Lol, you read my mind with this new challenge. I was just thinking last night that I hoped the next challenge would be the fridge as mine is in desperate need. I shall get onto this new challenge pronto. This is what I am starting with.
