@bowtiesarecool I'll be joining you at 11.45am! In the meantime though my oven carked it on the weekend so we bought a new on yesterday and I'm hanging out at home waiting for the electrician to come and disconnect the old one, the stonemason to come and cut my granite bench top (my new oven is bigger than the old one) and the cabinet maker to come and cut out a cupboard!

Stressful morning. But by the end of the day I'll be in a good place- I'll be PUPO (pregnant until proven otherwise @Soques)...and I'll be ready for my fancy new oven to be installed!! Happy days ladies!

just got the call, from 16 embies, 11 ferterlised, but only 5 had enough cells to have PGD testing, so pretty similar results to last cycles, just have my fingers crossed we get 2 embies and not 1 this time around that are genetically ok

it is pre-implantation genetic diagnosis, basically they take 2 cells from each emby around day 2-3 and test it for a genetic condition (or just to make sure that the cells look normal for some people). I'm having it as to not pass on a genetic condition I have, so they are testing the cells to make sure the embryo doesn't have it. I have a 50% chance of passing on the condition, and so far in my last cycles I end up with more than half having the condition, so it's pretty depressing.

Hi ladies. Congrats to everyone who had good news. Hugs to those who need them. Good luck today @90Bayside with the transfer. My trf went well on Friday, so I'm happily PUPO, 3dp3dt and counting.
