    Default stressed out

My wife and daughter were involved in a car accident just before Christmas and my wife can't move on. She stays at home all the time. Won't drive even though the accident wasnt her fault. She is not herself, needs someone to speak to. Live in Kipp-Ring Brisbane

Hi, I'm sorry to hear that, sounds like she has traumatic stress (I think that's what it's called...) her best bet would be for her to have a chat to her dr about it.. and he/she can refer her onto the right people.

    Hi Matty076,

I'm so sorry to hear you and your wife are having such a hard time. It's awful she went through such an experience, but she's still here, and I'm so glad she has you to support her.

Lifeline is a great service, you can either call them or use their service-finder. The website makes it seem like they're mostly for suicide - but they can definitely help with any mental health concerns.

The Qld gov has a list of services that you can also try getting in touch with.

Best of luck, take care of yourself & your family. Come back and chat if you need an outlet or any more advice.

    Jules x
