    So disgusting. They're in court today, I hope they get handed the maximum penalty... I think it's 7 years jail.

    I had tears watching that footage at the end where the elderly man is cowering and saying he couldn't see .

    Absolutely disgraceful.

    I'd prefer not to watch the video - I find such things too distressing.

    However, rather than turn our entire focus on the 2 women there is also this statement by the police
    "We did receive a lot of calls from the public," he told reporters.

    "Quite quickly this morning we were able to identify who we believe were responsible."
    The fact that they police received so much help and were able to identify the women indicates that whilst there are 2 deplorable women out there, there is also a bunch of other people coming forward to help the police identify them so they can be dealt with via the law.

    I think after these 2 women spend some time in custody they should then perhaps volunteer in an underprivileged indigenous community.

    I also wonder why no one went to his defense! Why didn't the bus driver stop the bus?

    That's what I wondered too. I understand they were drunk and unpredictable, but they were also young girls. Surely the bus driver and the man who eventually helped out would have been able to stop them as soon as they started?! So sad.

    I read in another story that a mum said she was blocking the aisle with her pram thus why people struggled to help. The girls apparently were blocking the bus driver from moving.
