I just finished reading Jurassic Park. There were at least ten spelling mistakes in the book. I'm really trying not to let it ruin the book for me, but I found myself frowning the whole way through it!

Notwithstanding my sympathy for the sentiment behind this statement, a high school teacher posted on BH that she had a tough day at work and was now home 'balling her eyes out'. Ouch.
Also on Facebook this week (from a corporate executive at a very large company), 'I was wandering who wanted to come over for brunch'.
What is going on? These are educated people?

A girl I went to high school with has just become a qualified REA.
She has just put this on her Facey page, followed by contact details etc.
I feel awful for her, thinking that if people see this it would drive them away from using her because if I saw this I would definitely NOT use their service...
At Elders Real Estate we work to the beat of a different drum
We call it Customer Service .!!
At Elders our clients, Best interests are the beat that constantly drive us.
We believe communication is the key.!
If your thinking of selling.? Or just want to know how much your home is worth.?

I know how you feel Nomsie. I see a personal trainer who is a friend of DHs and now a friend of mine. One thing she simply cannot master is the use of an apostrophe. All through her website, Facebook page etc pretty much any word that ends with an "S" has an apostrophe, regardless of whether it needs one or not. I'm happy to admit I'm not perfect, but I'm pretty good 95% of the time. DH and I just cringe when we see it, especially when it's related to her business.

It makes it so hard when you genuinely want to help but are stopped because you feel it would cross some boundaries!
She has asked all her friends to share it, and many have and no one else has said anything about it needing a little touch up either. I don't know if they don't realise it's wrong or they don't want to offend either.
