Pumpkin soup with coriander and sour cream. I put bacon and potato in mine so it's pretty hearty!

I'm having leftovers from last night - made a fried rice with that slendier 10 calorie rice. DH and DD are having steak and roast vegies.

Ummm, I would love to share, but I kind of made it up as I was going.

I soaked 2 cups lentils overnight, and fried off spices, onions, capsicum and garlic in loads of butter, then put it in the slow cooker with tomato puree and water to cook on low about eight hours, and stirred through cream before serving.
Spices were: 1 tsp each: cumin seed, coriander, cardamon, ginger, and half teaspoon each: garam marsala, cinnamon, pepper and salt.

It was delicious, I served it up with pappadums and eggplant chips.
