Homemade fish and chips. First time I've used a deep fryer, was a bit nervous but all went well and it was the best fish & chips I've had in ages.

We had BBQ lamb sausages with salad and crusty rolls down at the beach . Lovely evening for it, and DS fell asleep in the car driving home so there was no bed time battle!

Either nutmeat casserole or pumpkin soup with crusty rolls. Hmm.. Or perhaps an egg and bacon pie with various veggies in said pie..

    So many choices!!!
