I'm trying a new recipe tonight from an American cookbook (350 calories or less meals - trying to lose weight in our house!!). This is the recipe:

A previous one of his was great and really spicy, so keen to know how this one turns out. I'll let you know after I'm done!

After seeing it on this thread a lot I've decided to try a 'savoury' mince and rice.

Tonight's menu consists of baked fish with smoked paprika wedges and rocket from the 12wbt recipe base. We are trying to lose weight here too.

Shrillian what's the book called? Is it available for purchase in aus? Looking for a low calorie meal cookbook so much easier counting calories is so time consuming!!!

It's by Bobby Deen (son of Paula Deen "Hey Y'All!"). So it's all of his mother's southern American cooking, but with a lot less fat.

My DH bought them from Amazon. Just look him up. This is his first book. Just released a second one, which is where I got the fish taco recipe from.
