We need volunteers for a research study looking at the effects of
pregnancy and diabetes on the kidneys
What is the study about?
During pregnancy, the woman’s body undergoes remarkable changes, including the kidneys. This study involves blood tests and ultrasounds of the kidneys (NO radiation), before (if possible), during and after your pregnancy.
This study is conducted at Austin/Mercy Hospital, Victoria.
Who may take part?
Women who are
1. Planning pregnancy OR within the first 12 weeks of pregnancy
2. In good health or have type 1 or type 2 diabetes
