The orgalutran is just a single syringe of 250 units not the dial up pen meds. I've heard half dose is often recommended in the agonist/antagonist conversion protocol. Has your protocol been changed for this cycle miissalina ? The half dose has something to do with trying not to shock the eggs too much which would reduce their quality x

Hope everyone is going okay on your journeys. Good luck everyone.
Just a quick question please - What dose FSH are/were/will you be on? I'm on 125, im going through the Fertility Centre and they do low dosage, but after having done OI previously I am worried that 125 won't have any good result. Is anyone else on low dosage?
Thanks!

Hi ladies... I'm waiting for af to do frozen transfer and wondering what you ladies do in the weeks leading up as iv been just enjoying myself still drinking my wine a couple days a week and having a coffee or two a day.. Should I not be doing any of that as I'm feeling paranoid now as this will be my first transfer.. My nurses say to me don't stop your life but clients of mine who have done ivf have said to me I should be alcohol and caffeine free? Thoughts? Xx also hope everyone doing well.. Such a nice easy thread we have going here

@rainbow brite I was on that dosage towards the end of the jabbing and I ended up with 20 eggs at pick up. I think it's a good idea, better than going too high and then having a cancelled cycle

@Rtropps purely just personal preference but I quit caffeine before we started IVF and don't have it in between, I have had a glass or two of wine after a failed cycle but that's about it for me

@rainbow brite I was on gonal f 125 my first cycle and also have PCOS my iestrogen went through the roof and had my cycle cancelled , this cycle I'm on puregon 82 then was increased to 93 and that's where they have kept it it's better to be too low than to high they can increase easily but to back track is abit harder @Rtropps a week before I started stims and stopped all alcohol I don't drink anything other than water and tea on the odd occasion but if this cycle is a freeze all I'll be having a big night out with the girls just the once but I kinda think a week before try detox your body of it all so there's no residual crap floating around
AFM oestrogen is at 4000 sooooooo another scan and bloods Monday which they said will most likely be trigger day slow and steady wins the race lol

@Rainbowbrite - this is my 2nd cycle on 125 fsh. When I had a cycle on 150 I had OHSS so dont worry, they can always increase the dose after scans/bloods if they needs. @Rtropps - I try not to drink alcohol or caffeine while cycling but thats a personal choice and we are all different, I do have the occassional soft drink and a wine at weddings.

I haven't stopped caffine or alcohol, just happen to be off caffine at the moment (I have these no caffine cycles) and I have never been big on alcohol so haven't had any since Christmas I dont think? But I dont think as the nurses have told you that you should put this sort of stuff on hold before transfer, Obvioulsy I wouldn't rock up with a hangover though haha.

@rainbow brite - I did 2 cycles of IUI on 75iu Puregon and got 2 follies both times. My first IVF cycle we did 100iu Puregon and I only got 2 eggs, this time we are trying 150iu aiming for around 6 eggs. I am going through the fertility centre at springwood, which one are you with?
I think it is better to start on a lower dose as they can always put it up mid cycle if needed.
