    The dry chickpeas usually double to about 4 cups so if I use tin I usually use at least 3 - it's best to cook first and then freeze - just reheat and eat! ( I usually end up with 30ish so you will definitely need to freeze some!)

    I forgot to add -put the mixture in the fridge for an hour before frying - gives the flavours time to enhance!

    Thanks! I think I have 2 tins in the cupboard so I'll go with that and see how we go. Might adjust the other ingredients down a little if you usually use 3 cans.
