As the title says- does anyone know of any brands of maternity jeans that are high waisted WITH the elastic stretch part starting higher? I have a pair from "pea in a pod" like this but am looking for others as these lose their shape very quickly.
I checked just jeans and jeans west today- only hipster jeans that show my butt crack when I sit down or that have elastic over belly but start too low and just don't flatter me.
I'm a bit nervous to buy online as in between sizes and really prefer to try before I buy. Thanks!

Have you checked out Target? They had quite a range of maternity jeans at my local Target earlier in the week.

Have a look at Big W, they have those type of jeans. I have a pair that are "Egg" brand, which I've had for 9 yrs (2 pregnancies), super comfy but expensive at $200.

I love my target maternity jeans, they have elastic for over bump and start high enough not to be uncomfortable.

Have you tried on some jeanswest overbump ones? I had some and they were so comfy. They looked hipster style as the denim part dropped below the bump at the front but they came up higher at the back. Then the stretchy skin coloured part came all the way up over the bump so no digging in or slipping down like other ones I had.

I just received some jeans west ones that I ordered the other night so can't vouch for wearing them while heavily pregnant as I am only six weeks but they seem like they will be comfy. Have a high over bump band and the actual material of the jeans is very soft material not stiff like regular denim. I would recommend trying them on in store to see what you like. Good luck
