    Default 6 Days Late...

    Hi everyone

Just wondering if someone can shed some light?

I am now 6 days late for my period. I am usually super regular but have just gone off the pill last month. I took a pregnancy test yesterday and it was negative. DP and I only DTD once last month and it wasn't around "that time" (I don't think?).
Could going off the pill make me late? I'm getting worried. I have felt as though my period is coming for the last week or so but nothing!

I think after coming off the pill can take some time for your body and hormones to readjust, quite normal I think. Maybe just have a blood test just to be sure.

I think going off the pill can mess with your cycle. How many days DPO did you test for pregnancy? Generally people think if you don't do it around the time you ovulate you can't get pregnant but that's more the case of you don't DTD until after you ovulate. Anywhere within a week after AF starts will still see you with a chance of being pregnant. I should know, I'm 26 weeks with a long cycle and only DTD once a week after AF and here I am. I guess all you can do really is test again and if it's still negative a week from now then i'd be asking a doctor to investigate why you're still not having a period. Do you want to be pregnant? Good luck, I hope you get some answers soon.

Thank you for your replies I will give it until the end of the week and then investigate with my GP. I'm in two minds about having another and am really just leaving it to the universe.

Very normal when coming off the pill for AF to be irregular. Some women it only takes one cycle but some it can take up to twelve months after coming off the pill to get a regular cycle again. You might want to track your ovulation if your TTC it can be all over the place. Good luck
