    Just bumping this thread up . How are we all going?

    I've been on the health/weight loss train since end of Feb this year and have lost 20kg . I've got about another 25kg to lose to get into a healthy weight range.

    I started out with calorie counting, and heaps of walking using a fitbit to achieve my step goals. Then found out about 5:2 which was good for a while but I can't seem to have a successful fast in cold weather.

    I've been reading about lchf for a while, following Christine Cronau's fb page. Have now got her cookbook. Also today I purchased The Real Meal Revolution which is a good read and looking forward to making some of the food in it.

    There's so much info on the net to trawl through and I notice some of the hflc sites are very very strict about carbs and Christine's cookbook you can use masa harina (cornmeal) to make tortillas etc. I guess it's a personal choice and what works for you.

    It is a little scary though isn't it. The fat is bad message is so ingrained, and anyone I've spoken to about this way of eating has been very skeptical.

    Anyone interested in starting a bubhub lchf fb group? To keep track, share meal ideas?

    Would love to do a group for lchf .

    I am going okay with it all. I have been cheating a little (well a lot) and eating so many things I am not meant to.

    That said eating this way I don't get hungry, like never. Christine reckons you should eat when you are hungry, not sure what she would say for someone who never gets hungry. So far I have been eating well today, but we are going out to Sizzler (DD choice for her birthday) for dinner tonight. I have just had breakfast

    My problem is I let carbs slip back in and eating high fat and carbs is a recipe for the next size up. Would love to have a FB group to chat too.

    Hi I meant to reply earlier. It kind of fizzled out as we didn't see huge success. I have moved away from LCHF and just eating real food and moving myself a bit more and not being hard on anything diet wise. I eat a lot of fat though so it did teach me to bring it back into my diet. I wish you all the success. Some people just smash it do go for it

    I'm going to do Weight Watchers again.

    I felt sick a lot of the time on LCHF. I really like the principles behind it, but there is too much meat, fat and eggs for me
