Congratulations Amps! Enjoy every moment and hopefully after your rough ride you can now just enjoy being a mum to little Erin.
Me too Octoberbaby! Emotions are high. Got so emotional watching One Born Every Minute last night. Less than 3 weeks to go for me. Have been having lots of dreams about labour - nothing strange like giving birth to cats though! Ha ha.
Looking forward to more baby arrivals over the next couple of days.

Funny constipation story....
A few days after DS was born I hadn't been so they gave me some stuff to help me go. That night at about 4am I was feeding DS and felt the urge to go. I put him back in the crib and thought I would duck into the loo as I am usually a speed poo'er!! After what felt like forever but was prob about 5 mins listening to DS cry and realizing that I was going to be a whole lot longer I decided to press the call bell to get a mid wife to comfort DS. Well the next thing I was joined in the loo by at least 5 very worried looking staff who were puffing like they had run to get there! Apparently the toilet / bathroom call bell is linked to an "all hands to respond" emergency call!! Needless to say I felt very sheepish having to tell them all that I was doing a rather difficult poo and could someone comfort my baby!!
So pleased for your new arrival Amps xxx

Oh Bedlover there's nothing such as modesty in childbirth eh?! I remember after DD 4th degree tear (ouch) I went 4 days later eventhough i was on special diet! I did alot of waiting around on the seat pan ( while I thought finally its here! It's going to happen now !) for the longest time and then when it did happen, tmi I had to push a bit, I yelled so loud (pain was excruitisting as i did have stitches there!) hanging on to the rail with all my might, you wld think I was pushing out a baby! Man but was I relieved after that!! And I thought I was skipping all this by taking the csection route, am I sooo wrong?? I will never forget that day, I was so hot and sweaty, it was bloody hard work!

Yes octoberbaby, Ngaiz and LMM, full of emotions here!
DH is off tonight to clean our new investment property (in Adelaide). Won't be back until Monday morning. I know I'll be a mess all weekend...feeling sorry for myself when I can't open a jar. Legs crossed here for sure! 37 weeks today!

Bedlover, love that story. I probably would have done the same thing! Good to hear these tips beforehand though

Congratulations Amp!! It was truly mother's instinct that you didn't want to leave hospital. So happy Erin made a safe entrance into the world! X
Bedlover and Ann your poo stories made me laugh. My SIL told me a beauty too after her csection. I'm just going to load up on warm prune juice hehe
With so many of you girls ready to pop I've officially got 12 weeks and 1 day to go! My c section is booked for the 20th of June. I've told bubs he has to stay put till then!

So many funny poo stories! I will be so glad when constipation and heartburn are no longer part of the daily routine and I can actually get comfy in bed and not toss about every half hour!
Just pottering around finishing off some jobs and thought I'd upload some pics of our almost finished nursery (just waiting on DP to finish putting the doors back on and shelves up.... forever waiting lol)....
And this is the bassinet that's in our room :-)

Omg Veritas we have exactly the same taste!! Everything looks amazing!
Can I ask where you got the cot and bassinet bedding? I'm looking for the same thing!
