For b'days we usually do a theme park, although with 4 kids that may blow the budget.
What about Currumbin wildlife sanctuary? Not sure what it cost these days though.
Maybe just a trip up or down the coast, spend the day at the beach? Picnic or BBQ in the park after a swim?
    A trampoline park?

Science centre museum art gallery is a pretty regular occurance for us, so nothing first birthday worthy.
I like the idea of the beach/southbank. A theme park would be awesome but yeah, that might be too costly.

Sure happy to travel. Australia Zoo tickets were our Xmas gift. Mum likes to buy experiences rather than toys or.something, hence the offer.
