Thanks for the advice I think it was nothing. Been laying down & getting up all day. Went for a walk with the dogs& still nothing. Not sure what it was but decided I didn't want to call the MW as I didn't want any examinations or tests. I guess if something was to come of it, it would have happened by now. No more leaking just normal tightenings. I think I was just hoping it was something not long I hope.

oh Lindsay, hope it's early early labour...no advice on the waters breaking since mine had to be broken manually when I was ready to push.... but hope something is happening in there

My waters broke naturally and I had a trickle I couldn't "clench" stop - other than that it was like I just really had to pee - my cramps/contractions didn't kick in until about 5am (a good 2hr + later).

My waters broke 'movie style' in a great big gush all over the lounge (thank god for leather!) I would check with the MW's as well.

I think it's hilarious as well Hoots! All through parenting classes we were constantly told that NEVER happens. So when I was sitting on the lounge watching the midday movie and felt a huge gush I thought my bladder had burst!!! LOL I was horrified that I'd peed myself all over the lounge! I rang my husband and he's like "Ummm do you think your water broke?" lol....DER!! I felt rather silly! 4 hours later I was in active labour and 4.5 hours after that I was holding my baby! Ohhh AND I asked for (and received!!!) pizza delivered to the delivery suite. Apparently I was worried that hubby and OB hadn't eaten dinner!!!

Lindsay I would ring the midwives. They can do a simple swab test and see if it was your waters. If it was your waters and nothing happens for a few days you will need antibiotics and baby can get an infection without the fluid.

Hoot William is gorgeous. I am so jealous seeing all these baby photos I just want to meet our little man and see what he looks like.

Lindsay, I agree with jedi, we were told about the risk of infection too in our prenatal classes if there's not enough fluid. It's def worth a call to the hospital.

    Lovely photos Btw jedi 😊

Agree with Jedi & MusicalGal on this one Lindsay.

Jedi, those pictures are beautiful. You look radiant!

AFM - Ava is doing beautifully! She has put on an average of 40-45g per day for the last 12 days giving her a total weight of 3.450 kg today! Still a daily battle keeping me out of hospital.

Hope all you mamas in waiting are taking care of yourselves!! :-)

    xx
    Jade
