If you've had rain, it could be caused by a wet power point or an extension cord getting wet. These things always seem to happen when you're the sole adult in the house. Murphy's law or something like that.

Thanks everyone. If it keeps happening & we can't figure out a reason for it, I'll look into getting it locked. I spent 2 years living across the road from housing commission houses filled with stereotypical housing commission tenants who were known for pulling this kind of stunt.
