    I remember my gp telling me in my last pregnancy that Ibuprofen was safe in the first trimester but should be avoided after due to the possibility if cardiac malformations. I thought the heart was formed in the first trimester tho so couldn't understand this theory.

    There are other risks to baby in taking NSAIDs, for this article to say that it may be safe to use them during pregnancy is irresponsible. Previous studies have shown high risks, just because one study shows miscarriage may or may not be a risk, doesn't mean people should start taking a medication that can cause harm
