Default Midwifery Group Practice RPA - Any experience?

Hi all, I'm new to these forums and newly pregnant, due late September. I'm trying to decide whether to do private Obstetrician at the Mater or go public through the midwifery group practice at RPA.

I have had very strong biased opinions for both but have not spken to anyone who has used the RPA option. Anyone with experiences to share?

I did public shared care twice through RPA. Found midwives to be fantastic - appts were never rushed even if they were running behind.
During labour I had 3 different midwives (not because they swapped and changed but because I laboured so long, their shifts ended). All were great - attentive but not in our face, left us alone a lot but were just outside the door when needed. I can't praise them enough. I was given private rooms too.

I've had friends who've gone to the Mater who also rave about it.

I don't think you can go wrong with either.
