Hello, I'm new to this forum (but love my jewellery forums!) so hopefully it won't be too long and I'll find my way around.
I'm wondering if there are other older Mum's out there who are TTC after miscarriages and who are over 40? I am aged 42 and have three children from my first marriage aged 18,16,14 years and I was very lucky to have 'normal' pregnancies without any issues.
Sadly I've had two miscarriages in the past three months, the first in October at 6 weeks (low HCG counts) and then last week at 8 weeks after lots of bleeding and signs that all would not end well. My heart goes out to every woman out there who has suffered the same thing, it truly does hurt like Hell.
My partner is very reluctant about future pregnancies, and I am feeling quite sad and unsure. Are you an older woman TTC who is feeling the same? Does two miscarriages mean 'stale eggs, do not proceed'? My doctor gave me no sure answer about the cause of the miscarriage, only said that this happens more often when you are older.
Thank you for your thoughts.

I am so sorry for your losses. I just wanted to say that. I am not 40 or over, I am 30 but I have suffered 2 mc in a row. I think it doesn't necessarily mean 'stale eggs' as you said. There is still hope- you can get pregnant and whilst that is true you should try to stay hopeful. I know it is hard- especially after two losses but try to hang in there.
