And should he?
Convicted murderer Simon Gittany's girlfriend Rachelle Louise claims that the money she is getting for doing an interview will pay for his legal fees. This seems wrong to me, very wrong. I heard it discussed on a radio program and a legal lecturer called it proceeds of crime. I think there is no way she should gain a cent from talking to the media or anyone about her boyfriend throwing a woman off a building to her death.

Oh that's revolting and shame on the media for paying for interviews in these circumstances.
Imagine how that girls parents feel, I would be enraged beyond belief!!!!

No of course she shouldn't. Neither of them should.
It is interesting following the live tweets from the court during his sentencing hearing.

I guess if I put myself in her shoes and think about it - I can sort of see why she's doing it. She didn't murder anyone.. But yes it's still wrong in my eyes..

Also to me I get the impression she's a bit of a publicity *****. The stunt outside the courthouse smoking a cigarette for the cameras. Doesn't seem like normal upset behaviour to me. "Aspiring actress" trying to boost her profile to me.

I don't understand how these disgusting men get girlfriends in the first place.
Once someone said oh I'm kinda in the ****, I threw my last partner off the balcony , I would NOT be hanging around to hear the next sentence he spoke.

I'm more disappointed that there is a market for it than that she is getting the money.
In the end it is her chance to get their side to the story out and lawyer fees can wipe out a family (trust me I know)
I'm not saying its right but I thought my loved one was innocent and had spent all my money trying to prove it - I would do the interview.... I do feel for the family who lost a daughter and have to watch someone profit from it....

I have a real dislike of this woman. It's obvious he killed his wife. Her friends say he was extremely abusive. he is seen on CCT footage with his hand over her mouth, pulling her forcibly back into their apartment then mins later she is dead. The court has found him guilty. She's an attention seeker, and a fool for parting with 170k for his defence. She shouldn't be given a cent.
