Hi ladies! This is my first month charting which I think I'm slightly unsuccessful with. Mon-Fri I take my temperature at the same time but the weekends are all bets off. Anyway I've noticed a HUGE dip in my temperature since I supposedly ovulated. It's even lower than before I O'd. Do you think that counts me out this month?

Hi! Welcome! Can you take a screen shot of your chart and put it up so we can see?
If your temp has gone down and stayed down for a few days then I would say O hasn't happened. Hard to comment without seeing it.

I'm not too sure to be honest, the next 2 days will tell you move and ff will move your crosshairs if it thinks you didn't O.

How many days is your cycle normally?

29 days. When I first went off the pill it was all over the place. But since the beginning of the year it is spot on 29 days. Almost to the hour.

If that's the case then O is probably correct on your chart. The next few days will show the trend. It is not uncommon to dip after ovulation I am just not familiar with the dip level, your temp dip could be completely fine 😊

I'm obsessing... But I just had the urge to try an OPK. To date these have always been negative, then today I got a positive! Is it possible to get a positive after you O? I mean my cycle could be out this month and I could be Oing later...

No, you wouldn't get a positive opk after oing. You usually get one 12-36hours before o. The only time you might get one after o is if you are pregnant but this wouldn't be until after 14dpo. I think in your case looking at your chart that you probably haven't actually o'd yet.
